Lebanon Women vs Palestine Women: Result & Match Report

Lebanon Women beat Palestine Women 2-1 in the International Friendly, building a 2-0 lead by half-time before Palestine made the closing stages more competitive.

How it happened

Lebanon Women made the stronger start and took control of the match in the first half, going into the break with a 2-0 advantage. That cushion proved important after the restart, as Palestine Women responded and pulled a goal back to reduce the deficit to one. Lebanon, however, managed to protect their lead through the remainder of the game and close out a narrow 2-1 victory.

The result came just three days after the teams had met in another International Friendly, when the match finished 1-1. This time, Lebanon turned their early momentum into a winning position and left Palestine with too much to do after the interval.
